At its best
A well-placed Mercury here gives quick thinking, clear speech, numeracy and a head for business, channelled into gains & income and friends & networks. This is the constructive reading the tradition leads with.
Where to take care
Under pressure (a weak sign, hard aspects, or a difficult Dasha), Mercury in the 11th can bring nervous over-thinking, hasty words and difficulty finishing — felt through gains & income. Read it as a tendency to manage, not a verdict.
